Here are some of the questions we are most often asked about Lapochka, our dogs and our puppies.
-
Information about our current litter and any available puppies can be found on our Puppies page.

Yes. Showing is an important part of the Lapochka breeding program.
Our dogs are selected and developed with consideration for breed type, structure and movement, and we actively participate in conformation showing. We believe the show ring provides an opportunity to objectively assess our dogs against the Border Collie breed standard.
You can view our dogs and their show records on the Our Dogs and Showing pages.
-
We take time to get to know prospective families and understand their lifestyle, experience and expectations of the Border Collie.
Our aim is to match each puppy thoughtfully with the home and future that best suits the individual dog. We are interested in homes where our puppies will be valued as lifelong family members and given the companionship, training and activity that a Border Collie needs.

Not every puppy is suited to a show or breeding career, and we do not determine this solely from appearance at an early age.
As puppies develop, we assess their structure, movement, breed type, temperament and overall development. Where appropriate, we may discuss show or breeding potential with families who are interested in pursuing these paths.
Our priority is always the individual puppy and the right long-term home for that dog.

We take a thoughtful approach to puppy placement rather than allocating puppies simply on a first-come, first-served basis.
As puppies develop, we get to know their individual personalities, temperaments, structure and characteristics. We use this knowledge, together with an understanding of each family's lifestyle and expectations, to help determine the most suitable match.
Families are welcome to tell us what they are looking for, and we will guide them through the process of choosing the right Lapochka puppy.
-
Yes. We value the relationship we build with every Lapochka family and remain available as your puppy grows.
We are always happy to hear how our dogs are progressing and to provide guidance where we can, particularly during the early stages of settling into a new home.
Our aim is for every Lapochka puppy to remain part of our extended family throughout their life.
-
