Lapochka is a Border Collie kennel in New South Wales, built on decades of love for the breed and a commitment to developing dogs we're proud to live with, show and breed.
Our focus is beautiful, intelligent dogs with sound structure, effortless movement and the character that makes the Border Collie such a remarkable breed. Every litter is part of a longer journey — thoughtfully selected, carefully raised and chosen with the future of Lapochka in mind.

The Lapochka Journey
Lapochka became a registered kennel in 2022, with our first litter arriving in 2024. What began as a lifelong love of Border Collies has grown into a breeding program centred around the dogs we live with, work, show and choose to carry forward.
Our History
We breed for sound structure, correct breed type and effortless movement, while keeping the versatility that makes the Border Collie what it is. Our dogs are expected to have the presence and structure to stand in the show ring, and the ability, instinct and character to work.
Structural Excellence
True beauty means little without health and a sound temperament. Our breeding dogs undergo DNA testing for relevant hereditary conditions, with hips and elbows assessed before breeding. Health results are considered alongside pedigree, structure, movement and temperament when planning each pairing.
